The Aaina Menu

I would often go to Ek No. for lunch after school, and Nanaji would be in Ma’s room at exactly the time I walked in.

One day I asked him, “How do you always know when I’m coming over? Does Ma tell you?”

He smiled and said, “I eat every day at 1. I just look at the menu — when it’s full of your favorite things, I know you’ll be here.”
